Where We Stand On Important Issues
Parkinson's Disease (PD) is a chronic and progressive neurological condition. As yet, there is no cure and management includes treatment of symptoms with medication, surgical procedure and optimum general care.
The following documents have been drawn up to clarify the position of the EPDA in relation to a number of issues. These issues have been known to cause objections or strong feelings in some people, maybe because of an ethical, moral or personal standpoint. It is therefore important that the position
of the EPDA is clear on where it stands in relation to these important issues.
